The Lyric lies within our Senate Series, which is the most widely heralded, highly regarded shape in our line, simply because it works so well across a wide spectrum of skiers. We start with our Vapor shape and mindfully add two tenths of an inch in extra width between the tunnel and the edge bevel. As opposed to simply scaling the ski wider, this keeps the active wet surface the same as the Vapor, meaning it’s going to turn and grip like a Vapor does. Lightning fast where it needs to be and controlled through the turn, we have found the ideal surface area and shape for flat out performance at slightly slower speeds. With a lighter carbon layup than its Senate brother (15% softer) the Lyric Series requires less input to roll into the turn and set its angle across the wakes.
